Features of the Caran D'Ache Pastel Cubes include a softer texture that preserves their shading qualities. Made from pure raw materials and fed by hand into moulding dies to form cubes, the pastel paste is allowed to dry at room temperature over several days. The resulting 83 mm x 6 mm shape is easy to handle and features an imprinted color identification number. Extremely flexible, Pastel Cubes can be held horizontally or flat for covering large areas, or vertically to use their fine edges for detailed work.
