Having studied at Sydney College of the Arts, Christine’s creative career has dove-tailed between graphic work and her painting practice. In the 80s she was the driving force of the indie magazine, Stiletto as co-publisher and designer. In 2000 she moved with her family to Italy where her painting practice was re-established, and now as a full-time painter divides her time between her studio there and Sydney.
To augment her painting, teaching and drawing practice, Christine has developed a series of graphic works now exclusively available through Kadmium Print Shop. With influences of Picasso, Matisse and Miro, Christine’s bold use of colour and form, texture and nuanced line have a distinct signature and easily recognised individual style.
